Kia Shows Off New 2015 Kia KX3 The new 2015 Kia KX3 is apparently production ready. Images leaked online last week and it is one sharp looking ride. The KX3 is joining the smaller SUV market, measuring 168.1 x 70 x 64 inches, the KX3 will be segmented right below the Kia Sportage SUV.

The KX3 in its full production form is remarkably close to the schematics it originally leaked with at the Guangzhou Auto Show earlier this year.

Quirk Kia is hoping we will be able to spot the new 2015 Kia KX3 near Boston sometime soon. Information online suggests that China will see this new model in March 2015. When the release time comes, the new 2015 KX3 will be competing with small SUV’s and crossovers such as the Nissan Juke, Chevrolet Trax and Volkswagen Tiguan. So check back here, or on our website, for the latest information.

Performance Sneak Peek:

The 2015 Kia KX3 is said to offer two peppy and fuel-efficient 1.6L gasoline four-cylinder engines. The naturally aspirated engine generates 123 horsepower, while the turbocharged 1.6L T-GDI delivers around 200 horsepower. The turbo engine will be coupled with Kia’s new 7-speed DCT, while the naturally aspirated engine will be available with either a 6 speed manual or automatic transmission.

Bottom Line:

The 2015 Kia KX3 looks and sounds like a promising contender for the smaller SUV market. But what do you think? Pricing will likely start at $17,500 and range up towards $27,295. What else would you like to see in this model? Optional all-wheel-drive? Large displays? Panoramic sunroof? Or something else altogether? We’re curious what you think, so let us know!
